I was cleaning through some of my old schoolwork today and I found a story I wrote at age 7. I decided it was so funny that I should share it. This is a direct transcription, so every spelling mistake and grammatical error is still present.

The Great Easter Crash

It had been a hard yare preparing for Easter only two more days. The barscits were stil beeing made.. everything was ok entiL the next day. The next day there was a thuder storm The storm made the ground damnall the animals ran over the bilbes nest. In the bilbes nest roovs collapsed all the chocolat eges broc. Then a rabit hopt into the hole. the bibles were scared the rabit was mooving the broken of* the bibles were confused sone the bilbes were helping. When it was fixt thay wunderd how thay wood make the eges with one day left.

Then there was litning it shot on to the nest the grond calapst agen the cocolat mechen was brocn for god the bibles and the rabit trid to fix it just woden stay together the bibes were sad.

*I think this is supposed to be "the rabbit was moving the broken off"

As you can see I grasped the concept of melancholy from an early age.

I forgot to mention that in school I was taught about the Easter bilby, as opposed to a bunny. That will probably give this a bit more context.

Well, now this makes a little more sense. I thought you were trying to portray anthropomorphic bibles for a minute there.

I remember writing that much at age 7 felt like doing an English GCSE exam.

I'm sure I could dig up a story I wrote about Power Rangers, but as of yesterday that would involve bin-diving.

I don't think I really have any stories from when I was a kid other than a letter I was going to send to my friend Curtis who moved away at 5.
Copying it straight to here it read,
'Dear cutis bond
I miss you cutis. Do you miss me?
From Tristan.'
