is there still going to be a squee character? i remember reading either in the end credits of the first game on PS or somewhere else that one of the lead characters would be named squee?

steef is a silly name, squee is better (though still a silly name).

Squeek has been officially confirmed as a Quintology character by Lorne Lanning himself. I believe it was the first Quintology hero he came up with.

Personally, I feel 'Steef' is a brilliant name, if it were the Steef's name. It's not an Earth name like Abe, nor is it onomatopoeia. It would be an utter shock if Squeek weren't the third hero in the Quintology.

when i was reading through one of my REALLY old games master magazines, it had a thing about PS2 (this was a REALLY long time back) and on the list of games for PS2 it had:

oddworld: Dwanes legacy.
"more fun from those barking oddworld folk"


has he ever been mentioned?

By the way, Squee is a comic book character from that same guy that did Invader Zim on Nickelodeon a few years back. And what magazine said the thing about Dwayne's Legacy or what ever?

nope, its from a very old Games master magazine, and it has an artical of the PS2. The info is very small fo i dont think it will scan well, but i'll try if i must.

Isnt it really Squeek and not Squee, or was this topic title a type or something?

Anyways Im sure they will still do squeek, being that Lorne had originally thought up Squeek before Abe or Munch, or any of the other planned heroes.
