I'm getting both scrab and paramite tats on either my wrists or my hands for my 18th bday in august, ill post pics, but i cant decide AO version or AE, both look good, id like to see a crisp AO version but so far i cant find any.

pretty sure that the AE symbols are the ones representing the Mudanchee & Mudomo vaults in Necrum, whereas the AO symbols represent Scrabania & Paramonia, which aren't associated with the vaults of Necrum. scrabs also resided in the Mudanchee vaults and paramites in the Mudomo vaults, that's the sometimes confusing similarity.

Yeah, that's right. No idea why they changed them, though. Probably just thought they'd look cooler. The in-universe explanation is that Abe's tattoos mystically grow over his body. At least, I always read that literally rather than taking it as a reference to Abe's penchant for getting new tat(s).

I vote for AO signs. They're better to see on hands... if you change site for tattoo, like shoulders, or bigger skin area, I think are better Mudanchee and Mudomo symbols. That's because they're bigger and on the hands fits better a thinner one.

Well, that's probably true, I don't exactly have those rugged "working man's hands" but the effect is enhanced because they shaved the hands before tattooing on them. Normally I have quite a lot of hair on them, which also was one reason for making the tats a bit more defined, so that they still would look good when the hair grows back.
