I checked, double checked, triple checked and checked and checked again so that that wouldn't happen. I would probably have had to cut of my hands at the wrists and swapped their places if it had happened.

Yeah, you are in a sense right, I would not recommend tattooing your hands if you aren't shure you won't need to apply for jobs like that.

most of my mates have tattoos on their fingers and hands. they all have steady jobs, some with pretty fucking high pay. and no, they aren't all labourers. if you can't handle the people staring or the risk of not getting hired, don't have them on your hands. it is a risk, but not always one that turns out terrible or ends you up in McDonalds as Havoc seems to think.
